Please be aware that our Annual Dinner has been postponed from Saturday 16th September, 2023 till Saturday, 18th November 2023, 6 pm for 6.30 pm at the same place, Ruby Chinese Restaurant, 18 Woolley Street, Dickson, ACT 2602.
All invitations sent out still stand and the tables booked and paid for are held for your schools. This re-schedule will give the rest of the Community Language Schools time to organise your table and entertainment if possible. The ACT Community Language Schools Association is subsidising the dinner by 50 per cent of the cost per head. Please join us with your teachers, parents and volunteers to celebrate our work in 2023 and also the end of a wonderful school year for our community language schools.

Please note that the Second Workshop on the ACT Government’s New Funding Model for ACT Community Language Schools has been re-scheduled for Monday evening, 28th August 2023, from 6 pm – 8 pm at the Function Room, Theo Notaras Multicultural Centre, 180 London Circuit, Canberra 2600.
This is an opportunity to further discuss the new funding model with representatives from the Office of Multicultural Affairs and ACT Community Language Schools Association.

The election of Board members will also take place at the AGM.

ACT Community Language Schools Association and its 42 member schools will celebrate 31 years of helping our young people in the Territory to embark on one of the most beneficial intellectual undertakings, learning another language. We have over 420 teachers teaching around 2,300 students on the weekend and after hours to learn the language of their heritage. Multilingualism is a significant asset to our State.
Please come and join us! Bring your family and friends to a day of multiculturalism and celebrate the hard work of our teachers and students.
We will start at 10.30 am with poetry reading, storytelling, singing, and dancing from various community language schools, followed by the 4th Principals and Teachers Roundtable discussion.

Students’ Registration Forms 2023. Please note that we have not sent out the forms yet. We are waiting on confirmation from the Office of Multicultural Affairs of the requirements for the student’s registrations. We will update the schools by the end of this week (Friday 17th March).
Our Magazine for 2021/2022 will be published in mid-April. Please send all your materials for 2021 and 2022 to be received by Friday, March 24th, at 5 pm.
The Office of the ACT Community Language Schools Association has closed from Tuesday 20th December, 2022 till Tuesday 17th January, 2023.
