Instructions for Creating the List of Creditors in Mailing Matrix format

The required "List of Creditors" in the form of a mailing matrix must be provided at case opening. A mailing matrix, sometimes called a "mailing list" or "matrix," is a list of the names and mailing address of creditors and parties in interest in a bankruptcy case. Each mailing matrix is processed into Case Management/Electronic Case Files (CM/ECF) by software that reads and interprets the text on each page. Follow the guidelines below to reduce the likelihood of software reader errors and the resulting delay in mailing notices:

Providing A Matrix on a CD

If your CD is unreadable by the Court, it will be returned to you, and a deficiency notice will be issued. If your CD is found to contain malicious software such as a virus, it will be destroyed, and you will be contacted by our office.
